Make Full Use of the Law of Attraction

Like the law of gravity the law of attraction has been with us since the creation of the world. In fact the law of attraction became a reality before the law of gravity. But it was only recently that the law of attraction has been discovered. The fact of gravity has been known to human beings since their appearance on this planet. But it was not until the 17th century that its law has been discovered and analyzed.

With the discovery of the law of gravity or gravitation scientists have been able to make advances in our lives. They have designed faster and more effective transport systems from the bicycle to the jet planes.

The fact of objects and persons becoming attracted to other objects and persons has been with us since the time we began to see other human beings. But it was only recently that the law governing attraction has been discovered and popularized. This is strange because its principles were discussed by Jesus of Nazareth in the first century of our era but those who profess to follow him have not really made use of these principles. It was only in the last century that this law was talked about by writers and inspirational speakers. Finally in 2006 the movie THE SECRET popularized the principles of the law of attraction.

Law of Attraction Not Used Fully

Many uses have been made of the law of gravity, from transportation to food production, from medicine to recreational centers. But the law of attraction has not been made use of by the majority of people.

The proof that this law has not been make use of by the majority of people is that very many people wish for better things in their life, food in more quantity and better taste, clothes that are more durable and beautiful, houses that are more comfortable and more spacious, but their wish remains a wish. It does not become a reality. The reason for this is simple and yet it may take years to understand it. Their wish never becomes a reality because they do not use the law of attraction to make their wish a reality. And they do not use this law because they may not even realize that it exists and so they do not know how to use it.

Make Full Use of the Law of Attraction

Over the years there have been many persons who spoke and wrote about the law of attraction. We can begin with Thomas Troward, then William Walker Atkinson, the famous Wallace D. Wattles and Napoleon Hill in the last century. More recently we have Carol Look, Jack Canfield, Eva Gregory, Dr. Dõv Baron, and other experts on the law of attraction.

A guy by the name of Tom Murasso gathered the insights of 10 of these experts on the law of attraction and put them into a manual so that the ordinary person can understand this law and make full use of it. Law of Attraction - 60 Seconds to Success

I first knew about the application of the law of attraction – 60 seconds to success from Kenneth Blanchard & Spenser Johnson's THE ONE MINUTE MANAGER back in 1981. That was 25 years before the movie THE SECRET popularized this law of attraction. At that time it was called one minute to effective and efficient management. One minute is only 60 seconds long.

Law of Attraction Described

The movie THE SECRET describes this law of attraction very well. For me a simple statement of this law is that whatever we keep in our mind becomes an observable reality sooner or later.

It does not matter whether what we keep thinking of is good or bad. As long as it is in our mind it becomes an observable reality sooner or later.

For how long do we keep it in our mind? For 60 seconds or 1 minute only.

If we can for 60 seconds think of ourselves succeeding that starts the process of attracting success on our way.

Why 60 Seconds?

Why does it take only 60 seconds to attract the process of succeeding in our life? Because approximately that is how long it takes for a person to dig a little hole on the soil, put a seed into that hole, cover that seed with soil and pour water on the soil with the seed planted in it. Without our further effort that seed will germinate and become what it is as a plant.

So also it takes only 60 seconds to plant an idea in our mind, think of it very distinctly, feel the presence of that reality and without our further effort that reality which we think of becomes observable in our life. As long as we do not cancel out this idea by opposing thoughts it will germinate and grow in our subconsciousness and it will direct our mind to search or attract the factors which will make this idea an observable reality in our life.

How to Use the 60 Seconds

For most people 60 seconds or 1 minute is too short a time to attract success into their lives. That is because they do not know how to use the law of attraction - 60 seconds to success. Within those 60 seconds most people get distracted with more than 60 ideas in their minds.

The key here is to completely focus your attention on the idea that you want for your success. Here are some techniques which you can use to make this focus complete without any distraction.

1. Decide on a goal that you want to accomplish in your life or in your work. Write that goal in 250 words more or less on a sheet of paper. Use the present tense, not the future tense, in the statement of your goal. For example, write “I am succeeding in the project that I am handling now.” I got this advice from Kenneth Blanchard & Spenser Johnson in their book THE ONE MINUTE MANAGER.

2. Read your goal visualizing yourself as completely focused on your goal.

3. Read again your goal with feeling that the goal is a present, not a future, reality.

4. Rest assured that your goal has been planted in your mind and that your subconscious and the ever present and all powerful Spirit will work it out so that the goal can be seen by you. But the accomplishment of that goal is already a present reality. Its manifestation is the only thing that you are waiting for.

5. To make sure that no opposing ideas come across the goal which you have planted in your mind, when you have time to rest and think, remember the idea that you have planted in your mind.

6. Wait for the goal to be seen in your life. The forces of your subconscious mind and of the Spirit will so work it out that you will be told what steps to take in order for the goal to manifest in your life.

7. Obey the Spirit as he tells your conscious mind what steps to take to get to the success you are envisioning for yourself.

A Sample

I myself am surprised at how this law operates, the law of attraction in 60 seconds to success. There are so many examples I can give about this law operating in my life. But this one is a very clear illustration which happened only 3 days ago.

For many years now I have been making capsules of book chapters. Such a capsule is a one page copy of the essential words in the chapter of a book. (I am using this for my private use, not for selling these capsules.) In the course of time I have accumulated many of these capsules. In this way I have encapsulated already 10 books. About three months ago I thought of putting these one page capsules in a clear book. But I did not buy that clear book. I just visualized this clear book in my mind. Then I forgot all about it.

Three days ago a package from a friend in Singapore arrived. When I opened the package I saw 4 clear books. At the time I saw them in the package I asked myself what will I use with these clear books. The next day I remembered that 3 months ago I visualized a clear book for my capsules. So I got the capsule sheets and inserted them in the clear books sent to me by my friend.

Note these circumstances in this example. I only visualized the clear book in my mind. I did not write my friend in Singapore that I needed clear books. I did not even pray that God would give me a clear book. I visualized such a clear book for only 60 seconds and forgot all about it. The clear book arrived in a package that I did not know from the outside contained the clear book I visualized.

I can go on giving you other examples. But whether a thing is something small like a clear book or very important like possessing God himself, the law of attraction operates. Jesus the famous carpenter of Nazareth stated this law hundreds of years before in many ways. Men and women who have tried to follow him know that this law of attraction 60 seconds to success is true, real and effective.

Law of Attraction - How to Visualize What You Want

Those who have some acquaintance with the law of attraction have also come across the concept of visualization. This is because in order for someone to attract what he desires in life, he has to visualize what he desires. But most are not clear about what visualization is. In this article I hope to clarify the concept and help you towards making full use of the law of attraction.

To Visualize Is not to Daydream

Visualizing is completely different from daydreaming. In certain respects they are opposites. In visualizing you are in control of your mind. You see in your mind what you determine to see. In daydreaming you let your mind carry you to where it leads you.

You imagine you are in the beach with your family. You let go of your imagination and enjoy the different scenes in your mind. This is daydreaming. It is not visualization.

To Visualize Is More than Imagining

The second thing I would like you to realize is that to visualize is not a matter of imagining something. It involves 7 definite steps which are beyond mere imagining. Most people can imagine that they will become successful, but they never take the steps to visualize this success. So nothing happens.

Here are the steps to proper and effective visualization so that you create the reality you desire.

1. There Is a Definite Image That You See

To understand this it is best to use an example. Let's say you want to be a successful person. You have to specify the area of your success. You cannot just think and visualize of yourself as a successful person in general terms. Since most people equate success with possession of money, we take this as the area of your success.

You cannot just visualize yourself as possessing plenty of money. You have to be definite. If you have a bank account you have to visualize that your bank deposits have reached such and such an amount, let's say 1 million dollars. The amount is immaterial as long as it is definite. It can be 1 or 2 or 20 million dollars. It is suggested that you begin with a lower amount. It is easier to believe that way. See it in your mind as recorded in your bank account.

So visualize something definite. This does not apply only to money. It can apply to success in study, in career, in relationship and other areas of your life.

2. You See This as a Present Reality

Perhaps this is the most difficult aspect in visualization, to see this definite thing you desire as a present reality. But this is very crucial. If you see it as happening in the future, it may never happen at all. The reason for this is that it may just be wishful thinking and wishful thinking never creates any reality.

This is where faith is needed. You believe it is with you already. There is a reason for this which is explained very well by Jesus in the Gospels. The truth is that whatever is real, whether it is past, present or future, is always present with regards to God. And when you visualize you are using this creative power of God. You are seeing it as God sees it, a present reality.

3. You Feel this Reality and Thank God for It

Because for you the thing that you desire is already a reality, you feel its presence already and you thank God for it. (You use your own idea of God, Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, etc. The Buddhist and atheist will have a different concept of God.) This is also is crucial to strengthen your faith.

4. You See This in Your Mind Consistently and Frequently

This is also very important. The image that you see in your mind does not change. Going back to our example it is not 1 million dollars today and tomorrow it is 2, the next it becomes 3. If it is 1, then it remains 1 million dollars.

And it stays there in your mind. As soon as you are free to stop thinking about other things this image is in your mind. It does not help seeing it in your mind once in a while, once or twice a day. It stays there in your mind until it becomes part of your subconscious so that when you are free to think this image comes up in your mind.

5. You Do Not Worry About the Process How This Image Becomes Real in Your Life but You Follow the Guidance of the God

You do not busy yourself with thinking about the means how your desire will be realized. You just follow the guidance of God in your life. He will gently but effectively lead you to your definite goal.

6. You Wait and Circumstances Leading to this Reality Come to Your life

Yes, it is a matter of waiting before the reality becomes manifest in your life. Remember from God's point of view it is already there. You have taken this view by believing that it is already real in your life. You simply wait for the manifestation of this reality. As you wait you will notice that circumstances leading you to this reality come along in your life.

7. As This Reality Manifests Itself Share It with Others

Perhaps what is most important is that as you begin seeing this reality manifest in your life, you share it with others. Then abundance of joy will be yours.

It is most helpful if someone takes you and guides you along these steps. It can be someone whom you trust and who understands and puts into practice the principles of the law of attraction.
